Too many new things to be discovered and too many evil enemies to be challenged on Athanor. He simply enjoys life and adventures in his own way. Wiro is a famous “mad hero.” Some like his bold character, while some hate his madness. The film encompasses the first four of the warrior’s books and released to both critical and fan acclaim in Indonesia on August 30th.
SEAFOOD WIRO SABLENG 212 MOVIE
Beyond this, Wiro Sableng has additionally been the focus of a television series that ran from 1994 to 2002 and a recent movie titled “Wiro Sableng Pendekar Kapak Maut Naga Geni 212”, or “The Adventures of Wiro Sableng, the 212 Warrior. His first novel debuted in 1967, titled “Empat Berewok Dari Goa Sanggreng,” or the “Four Bearded Warriors from Sanggreng Cave.” The novels found success among the Indonesian people, the character going on to star in more novels, the series containing 185 books when all was said and done.
Perfect for seafood fans and absolutely worth the drive.Rather than coming from comic books like the DC heroes of America, Wiro found his start in pulp novels called cerita silat, or “martial arts stories”, shortened to cersil. Lets also not forget to mention the unexpected cheap price tab. It was a feast for at least 5! Well we were two people shy of that but I guess you could say we were really really hungry and the food was really really good. The absolute favorite however would have to be the barbequed fish with its soft meat and char grilled after taste just makes your mouth water before and after the first bite. Their green mussels are equally delicious and served fresh. We highly recommend their female Crab dish served in oyster sauce, the tender orange roe and the juicy crab meat goes very well with the savory oyster sauce.
The only reason to look at the menu is to choose how you want your dish to be prepared, using either one of the following sauces: Padang, Garlic, Oyster or chilli. Monster Crabs and BBQ fish, especially Ikan kue as a preference for the type of fish are both an absolute must, and to add to that throw in some Fried Calamari Rings, Stir Fried Kangkung / kangKung Tumis (water spinach) and a portion of BBQ Shellfish. So let the ordering begin, which essentially was just an act of pointing out food on other people's tables. From the 360 degree panoramic view of the restaurant alone, you will notice that almost everyone is eating the same type of dishes and we were tempted to familiarize ourselves to the max with these so called specials to see what the fuss was all about. Typically in a place like Wiro Sableng, people already know what the specials are without even looking at the menu. Its chaotic once you're there and the countless waiters are always on the move either cleaning up to prepare for the next batch of hungry mouths or serving those lucky ones already seated. Now a two storey ruko (shop house) building with a seating capacity for at least 300 is packed daily with almost a hundred people waiting anxiously to get “down and dirty”. It’s unimaginable that this place started off with a small tent with plastic chairs and tables outdoors. This place is a battlefield my friend! In order to find a seat, you will have to maneuver quickly through the frenzy of customers and waiters or risk waiting quite awhile for your chance to get your hands on one of the best barbequed seafood that Kelapa Gading has to offer. Its everyone for themselves! When you enter Wiro Sableng especially for dinner on the weekends, please DO NOT wait or expect to be seated.
